Privacy policy

In short: this website sets no cookies, does not track who visits it and loads nothing from other servers. Data is only processed when you open the site and when you sign up for the newsletter. This English version is provided for convenience; the German version is legally binding.

2. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. Each time a page is opened, the server automatically records what your browser transmits: IP address, date and time, the page requested, the amount of data transferred, browser and operating system, and the page you came from. This is necessary to deliver the website securely and reliably (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). The data is not combined with other data and is deleted after a short time. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with IONOS.

3. No cookies, no tracking, no third-party content

Fonts, images and scripts are stored on this server. No content is loaded from other providers, no cookies are set, nothing is stored in your browser, and no analytics or advertising services are used.

4. Newsletter

When you sign up for the newsletter, your email address, the language of the page, the date and time of signing up and of confirming, and the IP address from which you signed up and confirmed are stored.

Purpose

You will get a message when The Humane World Formula comes out and, until then, mail only when there is real news about the project, at most once a month.

Confirmation (double opt-in)

After signing up, you receive an email with a confirmation link. You are only on the list once you have confirmed. Unconfirmed sign-ups are deleted after 14 days.

Legal basis

The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). Times and IP addresses are stored so that your consent can be proven (Art. 6 (1) (c) in conjunction with Art. 7 (1) GDPR).

Storage and sending

The data is stored on the web server at IONOS. The emails are sent from this website’s mailbox at IONOS. Should a specialized sending service be needed for the release mailing, it will only be used as a processor, and this policy will be updated beforehand.

Transfer to the non-profit company

Until the planned non-profit company is founded, Bernd sends the newsletter himself and is responsible for it (see section 1). After that, the company is to continue it. By giving your consent, you agree that your subscription will then pass to the company. Before the change, you will receive an email and can unsubscribe at any time.

Unsubscribing

Use the link in any of the emails or send a short message to kontakt@humane-weltformel.de. Your data will then be deleted.

5. Order links and the Amazon Associates programme

The order buttons lead to Amazon and, once available, to tredition. Only when you click one do you leave this website; nothing is passed on to these providers beforehand. The respective provider is responsible for everything that happens there.

Bernd takes part in the Amazon Associates programme (Amazon Europe Core S.à r.l., Luxembourg). The links to Amazon may therefore contain a partner ID that tells Amazon you came from this website. If you then buy something, Bernd receives a small commission; the price stays the same for you. What data Amazon collects after your click, for example with cookies, is explained in Amazon’s own privacy notice. This website itself sets no cookies for this and does not learn what you buy on Amazon.

6. Contact by email

If you write an email, it is stored together with your details so that you can be answered (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). It is deleted once the matter is settled and there is no obligation to keep it.

7. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3)). A short message to kontakt@humane-weltformel.de is enough.

You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for this website is the Data Protection Commissioner of North Rhine-Westphalia (Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen).

8. Encryption

The website is delivered exclusively over an encrypted HTTPS connection.
